Rizwan is a heritage enthusiast. His passion and dedicated championing of Glasgow’s built heritage is unrivalled. Rizwan has been further developing his meticulous architectural draughtsmanship skills through his latest creative endeavour ‘The Heritage Draughtsman’.

In June 2025, Rizwan hosted a public exhibition on the theme of Glasgow’s architectural heritage highlighting icons and hidden gems within the city. On show were his explorations of textile screen printing, watercolour renders, sketch studies and drawings of building facades. The exhibition also captured his interest in the Art Deco movement which marked the centenary of Scotland’s contribution to this international style. Rizwan is continuing to build a multi-disciplined body of work focusing primarily on Art Deco architecture and design across the UK with his creativity extending into 3D printing and graphic design.
