Caitlin
Caitlin is a queer, neurodivergent artist based in Perthshire. They are a contemporary artist who works across diverse media, prioritizing emotion and meaning over material. Their practice often incorporates confessional elements drawn from personal experiences, with language and text playing a central role in expression.
The text and prose Caitlin writes are integral to their work, playing with the imagery and mark making that goes alongside it. As Caitlin's influence lies in their lived experiences and how they interact with the world around them, their work can vary from subject to subject. Some of the themes they touch on include grief, mental illness, joy and love.

Jack
Introducing Jack, Articulate's resident ‘Made with Care’ chef.
With the guidance and support he has received, Jack now works in The Buttery in Glasgow, simultaneously pursuing a HNC in Professional Cookery at the City of Glasgow College.
Jack’s passion transcends the culinary world; he is also a part of our music programme, ‘Track’ where he has assumed the role of a mentor for the two younger cohorts.
When he is not honing his skills in the kitchen, you’ll find him mastering the guitar though ‘Made with Care’, under the guidance of brilliant mentor, Andy Urquhart. He whips up a mean chilli, and he strums his guitar with an abandon that is nothing short of electrifying.
Daphne
Daphne is coming to the end of their final year of studying marketing in Edinburgh. What Daphne has enjoyed most about their time at Queen Margaret University were the creative aspects - writing, graphic design, generating concepts and a filming module they did!
Daphne is currently exploring how they can use their creativity and marketing experience together to create meaningful work. Their aim is to create a resource that organisations, for example charities and small businesses, can use to inspire and help aid with communications and promotion. They are planning to explore and utilise visual art practices such as screen printing to create this as a sellable, physical item.

Lisa
Creating has always been Lisa’s way of exploring, connecting, and making sense of the world around her. Lisa’s creative journey is all about curiosity and growth and sharing her story. She wants to help those who may need someone to look up to, whilst supporting them to grow in confidence in their own journey. At the core of everything Lisa makes is storytelling. She explores her own experiences, the moments that have shaped her, the lessons she’s learned, and the stories she has carried with her.
Lisa believes every piece she creates holds a voice: whether it’s reflecting personal journeys through poems, highlighting shared human experiences through speaking at events, or giving space to stories that might otherwise go unheard. She loves using creativity to turn feelings, memories, and ideas into something tangible, whether that’s celebrating community or raising awareness for causes that she believes in, such as families in debt, care experienced young people, aftercare support and SEND families.
